Hello! My name is Laura Romano and I'm a writer focused on comics, video games, TV, and film. In 2021, I earned a BFA in Screenwriting from DePaul University. I currently freelance as a story analyst and help with social media for the Cartoonist Cooperative while working on other creative projects.Most recently, I wrote Crescentia, a fantastical coming of age story with art by Alina Wahab, featured in the successfully crowdfunded Toronto Comix anthology The City We Chose. In August, I also released Window to Gaia, a sci-fi game about pop stars, space billboards, and making tough decisions.In 2023, I released a game about creative block, The Combination Café. In 2022, I wrote The Missing Trail, a visual novel about cute monsters coming together to solve a Halloween mystery.
